Happy New Year 2019!

Hello All!

It’s been a wonderful new year full of possibilities and exciting new adventures. The kids had some friends over for the New Year. Christmas was a wonderful time and we actually were able to spend time playing games instead of cooking all night. We will have to try to duplicate that next year 😉

I am getting ready for the Chalk Couture Class at my local library on the 26th. I have ordered more chalkboard trays, transfers and chalk. I will be getting those soon. Chalk Couture gave us a transfer they were giving as a kit to customers. I love it and will use it on a surface soon.

Since the library class sold out, they are looking for February’s project to post in their newsletter. I have an idea and will post that as soon as my order arrives which brings me to….

Today, Ken and Sean from Ken’s Kreations-he’s my upline- posted so many pictures of new product coming from Chalk Couture. I can’t wait to find out if I can post some of them.

Another exciting happening in February is my submission to Miss Kate Cuttables as a Guest Designer. Not only did they make so many cute files available but they let us pick three more current ones. I was blown away. I have so many ideas and can’t wait to get to work on this project. I just hope it will be something they love. Of course, I will post it on here.  Go check out her website here.

Well I better go and make some stuff or clean some stuff or look online at stuff. It will probably be last one. HA

Let me know what you’ve been up to and what your big plans for 2019 are.

Happy Scrappin,

Yes I am—I will be teaching a Chalk Couture Class at my Local Library at the end of January. I am thrilled and I can’t believe it.

I can’t wait to show people how to make this board.

CC Board Library Jan 2019 Class

I love Chalk Couture and how easy it is to make items professional and beautiful plus if you use a chalk board, you can change it with the seasons so it’s economical too.

The board is from Hobby Lobby and it can be hung up or you can use a strong easel to display it.

I have so many other ideas to make projects plus we get a new catalog on February 1st and I can’t wait to see what new transfers Chalk Couture comes up with.

If you want to sign up for this class, Contact Lowell Public Library at 219-696-7704

It’s January 26th, 2019 at 1 pm. Seating is limited so sign up soon to grab yours.

I am hoping this will be a monthly class so we can craft and learn together.

Thanks for stopping by!

I’m gonna be a Guest Designer!!!

I am so incredibly excited and honored to be invited to be a guest designer on Miss Kate Cuttables blog! Here it is if you haven’t seen it.

She also has a wonderful website. https://www.misskatecuttables.com which has free SVG’s. What What…I know! How amazing is she for giving out free SVG’s but she also has videos on You-Tube called “One Minute make” where she shows you how to put the free SVG together either as a cut apart piece or a print and cut item. Her designs are super cute and I have been a fan for many years. Here is what I created and posted on her facebook galleria

Tisha Van Dyke Scrappy T’s Creations

Please stay tuned to see what I get to create with her wonderful designs.

What a great way to start 2019 off.

I am currently finishing up orders from the craft shows I attended and getting ready for the holidays.

Thanks for stopping by!

It’s the most Crafty time of the Year….

Well we survived!

My son and Boyfriend Joseph helped me with not one but two craft fairs back to back in on weekend. I was fortunate to have such great help after having gallbladder surgery.

This picture above was taken at the Lowell Church of Christ fundraiser for their Sonshine Preschool. There was good traffic and many people shopping for the holidays. I was so glad to be part of this and I received many custom orders from this event. It was great to see people from my town and friends stopped by to look and purchase.

This picture was taken at Hobart High School benefitting a local elementary school’s PTO. This was a huge event and many different vendors including a Chalk Couture vendor so I was still able to sell my creations. I love going to these events and meeting people. We sold some items and have custom orders to fill.

Recently, I posted on my Facebook business page items I have in stock.

Please take a look. There are items for teachers, family, friends, and any other special people in your life.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I’m off to fill those orders by Christmas.
