My Self Made Swag!

Hey Purse lovers and Paper Crafters!

I am talking to you today and showing off my latest creation inspired by Maymay Helms. Yes Maymay, I did it too and love the way it turned out.

Check out this video to see it!

I used Carta Bella’s Botanical Garden paper kit found on Maymay’s Store along with the handle, binder clips, and the small magnetic discs. It was out of stock when I realized I needed two kits to complete this. Luckily, I found some papers on along with the matching 6 x 6 paper set and large magnetic discs. I used dazzles and various other embellishments purchased from

The buckle and chipboard were purchased from Joann’s and I had the glitter paper and colored card stock on hand. It took me several days and I had a hard time inserting the binder clips in the holes. I finally realized I needed to really push them through the holes to make the clip open wide enough to insert the album pages. As I waited for the paper to make the front of the purse, I decorated and made the album pages.

It took me a good week to complete it and I can’t wait to make more.

Let me know if you would make this and what papers you would use.

Thanks for stopping by!

June Stamplistic stamp and Die Set

Hey Crafty Peeps!

It has been raining here like crazy all month and tonight is no exception. Major Thunderstorms are upon us tonight cutting out my power and cable. Thank Goodness for my backup Generator and the internet on my phone.

I know I’m late posting this month goodies from Stamplistic so without further ado- here they are

Aren’t these amazing looking!

So I started

Using my Tim Holtz stamp platform on the rubber side and archival ink, I inked the stamp on practice paper. I did this several times and never stamped a clear image so I switched to an oldie but goodie in my crafting arsenal-

I have had this baby for over 15 years and it’s still works like new. So off to stamp and color with my Spectrum Noir markers.

I like to write down the colors on the spectrum noir cardstock so I know what the color looks like. I also used their metallic markers which I hope they come out with more fantastic colors.

Here is one version and the end results…

I don’t have the Swarovski Crystals others use on their projects so I used my bling from Queen & Co. and I think it came out great. The tear drops are perfect for this card. Will have to pick some more up from the Scrapbook and Stamp Expo in August. 🤩

It’s time to hit the hay. Thanks for stopping by!

Have a wonderful Summer!

Stamplistic Stamp kit

Hello Crafty peoples,

It’s time to show you what I made for some special people. I used the awesome Daisy kit from Stamplistic and my cuttlebug -which is now discontinued 😦

I played with all the dies using the spectrum Noir paper I had and various markers to make two cards. I had so much fun making these and trying to put them together. I marked the dies with a sharpie to note the top of the die to help me line things up. Then I used a wink of stella brush along with black 3D foam squares to pop up some layers.

Here are the finished products

This A2 sized card went to a friend who just moved into her new home. I used a cloud embossing folder and distress ink to accent each one. The congratulations is from a Martha Stewart cling stamp set I purchased from HSN years ago. It was originally too large for this card so I had to cut it down to size.

I made this daisy purplish and used all the same products as before but used Maymay’s Stamp set for the sentiments. I wish I took more close up pics of this card too before I sent it.

I can’t wait to see next month’s stamp set kit! I hardly ever used my cuttlebug and now I have more of a reason to cut out and make cards. Be sure to click on the highlighted links to connect to where you can find these products.

Have a scrappy day!
